We had an amazing time celebrating my 50th birthday! From the start to the end the music selection truly captured the soundtrack of my life. Hip-Hop was born in my generation and has literally gifted songs that capture the feel and movement of the past 50 years. DJ Rod was smooth with his selections and everywhere I looked there were lots of smiles, head nodding and those jams that got butts out of seats and on the dance floor. If I had to do things over again and was given the option to select my DJ we would absolutely pick DJ Rod again. In the words of Lil Wayne, "Go DJ, That's my DJ!" From a retired DJ I give DJ Rod a 5 out of 5 stars...hire this guy if you want your party to come to life! What are you waiting for...do it now seriously before he get's booked up!

Wow. What can I say? My wife and I were blown away. Rod was amazing to work with for our wedding. Rod was extremely flexible with our ideas. Made suggestions and provided ideas on how to transition to different parts of the evening. His enthusiasm kept things fun and alive throughout the entire night. Even took the time to stop by during the rehearsal to see the venue and ensure the night went perfect. We highly recommend! For my daughter's sweet 16 birthday party, Rod's service was outstanding. He was timely to the event, ready to set up with plenty of time before the event. His communication was courteous and helpful in coordination of music, questions about daughter and event, both before and up to the event day making my daughter's day special! He was approachable, able blended song requests, allowed music to be led by the crowds response keeping a great vibe throughout. He was very flexible as we made announcement with dinner, cake and rides home. He also helped the request to get the clean versions of the rap, and R&B requested if there was one. His passion for DJ was evident in the positive atmosphere he created with his music, his personality, his MC , attitude and communication from set up to break down. I would definitely hire him again for any event.

From the beginning of planning to the last moment of the reception, Rod Gregory and Just Music Entertainment were outstanding. From our initial conversation, meeting with the bride and groom and mother of the bride, Rod was incredibly kind, fun, and enthusiastic. He led us through the process and has great tech for planning to make sure everything was covered. We have never put together a party like this before and are thankful for his professional guidance. Rod even helped to put the bride at ease when she was a bit anxious at the venue walk-through. The event itself was great and I know everyone would have loved for the party to last for many more hours. The intros to the reception were fabulous. The dance floor was jumping the whole time. Rod was great to work with from the moment we first connected. He quickly understood the genres that we were trying to cover a diverse guest list is one of DC’s most beautiful venues. He acted as Host of the event introducing the bride and groom with good energy. He kept everyone on the dance floor! Each of us had a ball. He played music from “our era” plus standards, and danceable Music that everyone enjoyed!

It was very easy we had a last min party and Rod was very accommodating. The music was perfect. Our guests were varied, from infants to elderly, and from many nations. Each enjoyed the party and the music made it. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

Mr.Gregory was an excellent provider of music for our birthday event. Mr. Gregory was continuously respectful. He worked with me to ensure our event was enjoyed by all guests of all ages. Mr. Gregory was very open to communicate with us as often as necessary. His contract clearly defined his services, which were honored with the agreed upon fee at the time of payment. Mr. Gregory was willing to meet weeks ahead of time at the venue to make the necessary notations of the room size and to make detailed arrangements to ensure his equipment was set-up prior to our guests arrival. Mr. Gregory worked with us to select specific music selections. He took the time to locate all requests and ensure lyrics were previewed and appropriate all to hear. Most importantly, everyone had a wonderful time. The classical jazz was perfect dinning music. Afterwards, the music tempo changed which moved people to the dance floor. I cannot express how happy we are that we selected Mr. Gregory's services from amongst those we interviewed. I have no hesitation to call on him again for future events.
